Common questions

Is my Garmin password safe?

Yes. Your credentials are sent over HTTPS and used once to obtain a Garmin access token. They are never logged, stored in a database, or retained after that exchange — exactly how any OAuth connection works. If you're concerned, use Garmin's "Sign in with Google" option which never sends a password at all.

Which Garmin devices are supported?

Any Garmin device that syncs to Garmin Connect — including Forerunner (245, 255, 265, 955, 965), Fenix (6, 7), Epix, Venu, and Vivoactive lines. Apex reads HRV Status, Body Battery, sleep score, training load, and VO2max, all of which require a device from the last 3–4 years.

How much will it cost after alpha?

$29/month, or $19/month billed annually ($228/yr). Both plans include a 14-day free trial — your card is required to start but you won't be charged until day 15. Cancel anytime before then.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Apex lives entirely in WhatsApp — no app to download, no account to create, no dashboard to check. You just need WhatsApp and a Garmin device that syncs to Garmin Connect.

Can I pause or stop coaching?

We're still in alpha — pause and stop controls are coming soon. For now, just message us directly and we'll sort it out manually.
